Don’t give up the ship

Faith demands to accept realities and believe in them in the absence of evidence. It is much easier, even more rational to resist faith.

There have been times in my own life where I’ve lost my faith in God, in people & in myself. That happens ; we’re tested, and we fall down,but we can get back up again. In order to want to have faith, in order to have trust in greater things, we have to want it. For me, here is why I’ve faith. Faith begins precisely there where thinking leaves off.

Everytime we sit down on a chair, we’ve faith it will hold us. We’re trusting that the chair won’t collapse under us. That’s faith;being sure of what we’re hoping for ,being certain of what we’ve not seen or experience yet.

Peter;the man with little faith was asked to walk on the water and he walked too. But when his eyes focused on the wind and waves, he became afraid & began to sink.

We too need to keep our eyes on Lord instead of focusing on our circumstances. Faith moves God to act. For as the body without spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead too. Faith & Works, work together to move us forward . Genuine faith is validated by actions that follow, actions done without faith are useless. We must always act in faith ! B’coz faith fuels what we do.

Most of us approach it as a religious concept – but do we love others without faith on them ? I believe in science. But I also believe that there’s reality outside of these boundaries.
I’ve been blessed to believe in the capacity of people ,even when they mayn’t have faith in themselves. For this I’ve to have faith in myself.

It’s often times harder to have faith in yourself than it is to have faith in others. I like to come back to one of my favorite quotes that provides me perspective of how small I am in such a large universe , “Oh, God, thy sea is so great and my boat is so small. ”
